Sir Matt Busby's Babes were flying, returning from Belgrade. The aeroplane carrying the United players officials and journalists crashed
while taking off from stopover in Munich. Twenty of the 44 people on board died in the crash with three more dying in hospital afterwards.

British Airways' broken airplane |
41 years later United became the fourth club to achieve the feat. No doubt, if we wouldn't have lost the Busby Babes we would have won many many more trophies.
They where the finest team of England and the World.
Duncan Edwards had an injury to his brain they said, they said Jackie Blanchflower would never play again.
Sir Matt Busby, he was lying there, the father of the team, six months or more did pass before he saw another game.

It has inspired us for generation after generation of fans and players.
Everybody who lost there lives will always have a place in our hearts.
